Cary Humphries retired from Cargill Inc. in 1993, after 39 years in a variety of businesses, includung grain, sugar, molasses, fertilizer, salt, and steel.

He held a number of positions, including Grain Merchant, President of North Star Steel, and in 1991 was elected Senior Vice President and President of Cargill North America Geography.

In retirement, Humphries has served on a number of Corporate and Christian Boards including Slumberland, Adolph and Peterson,
Navigators, and Chair of E.C.F.A. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) and Northwestern College. Additionally, he and his wife lived in Ukraine for a year and he returns annually. He currently leads several groups of business men in a weekly study of the Bible.

Humphries was born in Culpeper, Virginia and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

He has been married to Margot Walker Humphries since 1954. They have 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law and 10 grandchildren in 3 colors!!

The Humphries belong to Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, in North Minneapolis.
